A fabricated brass Corinthian helm from the 5/6th C B.C. It has a 3mm thick fore head and nasal section tapering back to the 1.2mm thickness of the rest of helm. The borders of the eyebrows are up to 9mm thick.
The design on the forehead was achieved by cutting away the background. Below this are silver inlaid eyebrows and parallel engraved lines tracing the edges of the entire helm.
