A faithful reproduction of a princely, 14th C arming sword in the Reichsstadtmuseum Rothenburg, Germany.
The diamond section blade has been hand polished to a mirror finish. The spine starts at 6mm and has a complex distal taper to the point. It is finished with a brass and silver inlay of the teutonic cross and a silver escutcheon on the reverse side.
The fittings are decorated with alternating panels of silver and copper. Making chevrons on three sides of the guard and a complex cross motif on the pommel
The scabbard has a poplar core covered with leather and finished with a pierced Brass throat and typical chape.
