Ostrogothic helm constructed from 6 0.8mm spring steel plates, held together with 1.2mm Phosphor bronze bands and brow piece cut with oculars and pierced for attaching the lining and leather edging. The cheek plates will be attached to the helmet with leather incorporated into the lining and edging. They are shown as they are to give a better idea of the helmets appearance.
