A reproduction of the “Morgarten” sword, Oakeshott type XIIIa.14.
The sword hilt features an elm timber grip is completed by steel grip ferrules, the wheel pommel topped with a steel button, and a long unusually shaped crossguard.
This blade has been hollow ground so as to reduce some of its weight, but even still, it is quite a heavy longsword. However, the balance point assists in helping it to feel nice and light in the hand.
