Manesse Saddle

A silk velvet covered war saddle based on the those shown in the equestrian statues of Otto the Great in Magdeburg and another in the Bamberg Cathedral. It has a particularly high pommel and cantle, as do the statues. It is constructed from a solid timber tree and relies on no modern substances or techniques.
