Description
ID697
This cuirass is based on the one now housed in the Bayerisches National museum, Munich. The breast plate is worked from 2mm heat treated spring steel, while the back and fauld are in 1.2mm. It is covered with canvas and velvet and finished with lines of rivets.
The breast and back are held together with the same fastening method as on the left shoulder of the original cuirass, where a leather strap from the back plate is held in place with a pin. The front and rear of the fauld are also separate components to make transport easier.
Please note, the price listed below is for the item uncovered and unassembled, as the client did this himself.
