Copied from the pair on display at the Wallace collection with the Gothic harness for man and horse. The original stirrups are of German manufacture, dated to the first quarter of the 16th Century. Completely hand forged and forged welded, using the same construction techniques as were in use during the 16th Century.
The belt loops at the top rotate. The side arms are fluted and all external surfaces polished.
