A reproduction of one of the early 16th C Zweihanders from the Dodge’s Palace, Venice.
Forged Spring steel guard with spiral file work decorating the terminals and side rings. The leather covered grip continues the spiral theme. The blade has a 6mm spine and heavily fullered ricasso, three of the fullers continue well into the blade. This sword is enormous having a total length 72 3/4 inches (pretty much 185cm). The blade length is 55 3/4 inches, with a weight of 3182 grams.
Balance point: 6 1/4 Inches, immediately in front of flukes. Makes for a amazingly agile sword.
