Wool kaftan styled on those depicted in the Menology of Basil II, 10th C.
This reproduction consists of a fulled wool outer layer, and a light weight wool lining. It has been machine sewn, with all the hems, collar, cuffs and strips having been hand sewn. It features cast bronze buttons from a find in the Ukraine.
