A Chalcidian helmet based on one from the Axl Guttman collection. The hinged cheek plates will stay in the up position not because of the stiffness of the hinge but due to the carefully crafted spring in the hinge. This way when in casual wear the helmet will look just like the depictions on vases. Reinforced nasal and eyebrows. Ear cut outs and reinforcing around all of the bottom edges.
