A sword based on one of the three famous Austrian swords now in the Bayerisches. The script on the pommel and inserts in the faces of the pommel are to the patron’s request. The exceptionally long grip has been reduced to a more typical length for the period.
The pommel and guard are decorated with engraving and gilt surfaces. Set into the recesses’ of the pommel are enameled heraldic disks. One side being in red and 24 karat gilt copper the other white enamel and blackened copper ground.
