The blade is hand forged from air hardening steel, hand polished to a high gloss. It has a 6mm spine and graceful distal taper down to the tip.
The grip is carved from plum wood and fitted over a small forged guard and toped with an engraved steel disk.
Based on examples depicted in German artwork of the late fifteenth Century and some excavated examples.
Blade length 9 1/2 inches.
Weight 200 grams.
