A reproduction of a rondel dagger from a private collection. One the original only the rondels and tang button survive along with the blade that has a pronounced medial rib on one side while the other is completely flat. The fore rondel is of iron with one edge turn away from the hand. The other rondel is a thin brass disk with a fluted profile. The grip has been constructed from sections of antler separated with thin slices of buffalo horn.
A simple leather sheath with brass chape completes the project.
