Curry comb based on Museum of London catalogue number 401. Dated 1270 – 1350. Forged mild steel double armed tang extending along the back of the blade, and held by 3 rivets at each end. Mild steel blade with ends reinforced by being folded inwards. The timber handle has been scaled down slightly from the original, and is fitted with an iron ferrule. This piece is completed with a loop for suspension which is nailed into the end of the handle.
