Description A reproduction of a Turkish Yataghan and scabbard, based on a 19th C example done in the 15th C style. The pattern welded blade is forged in a six strand Turkish ribbon pattern with a small fuller along the back edge. The grip is of polished Buffalo horn with silver rivets, while the furniture is all from reposse silver in floral patterns over a picked ground. The scabbard consists of a timber core, covered with fine leather, and the furniture is done in the same manner as the sword.
