Pot helm with Faceplate

Pot helm with Faceplate

Catalogue ID: 693

Our interpretation is closely based on the few depictions of such helmets which show the face plate extending straight down from the skull of the helmet and then curving in to better enclose the face. Most reproductions have the faceplate extending out from the helmet, this is quite unnecessary if the helmet is the correct size and properly padded.
