A Chalcideon helmet based on one from the Axl Guttman collection. The hinged cheek plates will stay in the up position not because of the stiffness of the hinge but due to the carefully crafted spring in the hinge. Ear cut outs and reinforcing around all of the bottom edges. 5th - 4th Century B.C.
