Description Faithful reproduction of the Lyle Bascinet, arguably the finest surviving 14th C bascinet in the world, now in the Royal Armouries, Leeds. The helm is made from 1.6mm heat treated spring steel throughout. Complete with applied brass borders with wriggle work decoration, and brass caps soldered onto iron rivets for the visor pivot.
