Maciejowski Dress

Maciejowski Dress

Catalogue ID: 645

This style of dress is illustrated in the Maciejowski Bible. We have affectionately named it the Sleeve on/Sleeve off dress, as it is shown with the sleeves being tied behind the wearer, as well as being worn on the arms. For this reason it is a very versatile garment that can be worn comfortably in both warm and cooler weather. The example pictured is made of wool and is lined with linen. It has been machine sewn and hand finished. It can be completely machine sewn, or entirely hand sewn as well, depending on your requirements.
