Description A huge Bardische depicted in a manuscript held in Vienna dated to 1484. It has been made from 4.2mm carbon steel tapering down to a fine edge. The octagonal socket is backed with a large spike and hooks, the blade has been decorated with large brass dots interspersed with smaller dots. This example has been polished by hand to a mirror finish (note the reflection of the plants in the detailed image) Head only Machine polished $750 Head only Hand polished $1660 Prices do not include timber shaft
