Copied from a pair on display in the British Museum, these greeves are shaped from a single piece of bronze. Decorated with reposse Gorgons over the knee and down the leg, snakes on the outside of the calf and flutes on the inside. All finished with engraving and inset glass eyes for the gorgons. The greeves have been lined with felt and edged with leather. The original greeves have been dated to between 550 and 500 B.C.
