Description "As well as being functional objects for riders, spurs had a fashionable importance (at least for men) and were the status symbol of the horseman, while gilded spurs generally denoted knighthood" (Taken from "The Medieval Horse and Its Equipment, page 124) A pair of forged Norman Prick spurs, with octagonal faceted single goad, and two rivet terminals. They have been copied from and example in a private collection.
