Description This Curry Comb is based on no. 407 from the Museum of London catalogue -The Medieval Horse and its Equipment-. It is dated to 1400-1450. The comb is constructed in the same way as the original, with the ends of the blade reinforced by folding inwards. The tang has been completely hand forged, and has three arms. Each with a loose iron ring, that jingle when the comb is moved. The tang extends through the turned oak handle and is bent over to form a functional a hoof pick.
